I wanted a fairly simple layout in terms of patterned paper but wanted to recreate the comotion that is always found near the seashore with breaking waves and lots of birds. I decided to cut out several extra birds and waves from the cut file and re-create a seashore on this page. A little glitter and diamond glaze to mimic the water and a little round gem to mimic the light in the lighthouse and I was all set.

We fit - but just barely. PHOTOGRAPHS: Angela Shetzer of Shetzers Photography {http://www.shetzers.com} SUPPLIES USED: K&Company Road Trip patterned paper and embellishments, Nick Bantock's Charcoal Grey ink by Ranger, DCWV Cafe Mediterranean cardstock, Bazzill Just the Edge borders, Inkadinkado Travel Words & Road Trip stamps, Hero Arts Travel Frames stamp TECHNIQUE NOTES: I used a mat that I had torn the edges to ink the large borders on the photos. I applied the ink with a sponge to give nice even coverage. Once the ink was dry, I sanded the edges of the photos with sandpaper to distress them and help them stand out against the matting.

SS GRAVEYARD - July 6, 2010 - Dawson City, Yukon, Canada JOURNALING: It's hard to believe that this town of 1,500 was over 30,000 in 1898. The SS (Steamships) were a huge factor in the movement of people and goods but when they were obsolete, they were brought to this graveyard to slowly decay into the river. Such a sad farewell to these unique riverboats.
